Grade I winner Indian Charlie was represented by his first winner April 17 when Forthelifeofme won at two furlongs at Santa Anita in her first start. Bred by Nancy Yearsley and J. Garvan Kelly, the filly scored in :22.08 for a partnership that included her breeders. Indian Charlie (In Excess--Soviet Sojourn, by Leo Castelli) stands at Vinery near Lexington.
