Jockey Jerry Bailey may ride either of Coolmore's two Kentucky Derby candidates, according to a report in the Irish Times. In the report, trainer Aidan O'Brien gave his strongest hints to date that both Johannesburg and Castle Gandolfo will be entered in the Derby.

"It looks likely that both horses will go to Kentucky," trainer Aidan O'Brien told the paper. "I imagine that Michael Kinane and Jerry Bailey will ride them."

Kinane has been aboard Johannesburg for all eight of his starts, likely leaving Castle Gandolfo for Bailey.
