In a deal that will give it exposure in a major market, TV Games Network has reached a two-year agreement to exclusively air live Southern California horseracing on FOX Sports Net West (FSN) and FOX Sports Net West 2 (FSN2).

Two hours of daily live racing will be featured beginning with the Hollywood Park meet April 24, and continue through the year with daily coverage from Del Mar, Fairplex Park, Oak Tree at Santa Anita Park, and the fall meet at Hollywood Park. Racing from Los Alamitos and other TVG partner tracks may be included.

Racing from other California tracks may be offered in the applicable time periods if those tracks reach an agreement with TVG.

"This relationship with FOX Sports Net West and FOX Sports Net West 2 instantly brings Southern California horseracing and TVG's programming into millions of households each day," TVG president and chief executive officer Mark Wilson said. "We are pleased that these two major regional sports networks have decided to have TVG as their exclusive provider of programming for live horseracing. This also brings immediate growth to advance deposit wagering in California, which benefits our partner racetracks and their horsemen."

Steve Simpson, vice president and general manager of FSN and FSN2, said the TVG product "fits nicely into our schedules on our two networks."

The live horse racing will air either on FSN West, which reaches more than five million households, or FSN West 2, which reaches approximately four million households. More detailed programming information with dates and times will be announced later.

TVG is available nationwide on Dish Network and on select cable television systems in California, Kentucky, and Maryland.
