Sale records were established for gross revenue and average price during the Doncaster breeze-up auction, which ended its two-day run on Friday in England. The 201 horses sold grossed 2,299,680 guineas and averaged 11,441 guineas. The median was 8,000 guineas.

A Kentucky-bred son of Victory Speech brought the top price 50,000 guineas during Friday's session. Produced from the winning Phone Trick mare Distinct Beauty, he is a half-brother to group II-placed Prince Dayjur. He was purchased by Italian agent Marco Bozzi from Manor Farm Stud, agent. Harrowgate Bloodstock bought the colt for $11,000 at last year's Keeneland September yearling sale from Darby Dan Farm, agent.
