TVG To Launch Quarter Horse Show

On Saturday, TVG will unveil a new show devoted to Quarter Horse racing.Called "The Quarters," it will feature on-site production from Los Alamitos Racecourse in Cypress, California, and run from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. (ET) on Thursday through Saturday and 9 p.m. to
midnight (ET) on Sunday each week. Todd Schrupp will act as host.

"The Quarters is a new show that blends great Quarter Horse racing, entertainment, education and fun," said Tony Allevato, TVG vice president and executive producer. "Our goal is to market Quarter Horse racing to new fans or fans of other types of horseracing with a unique, spontaneous and innovative new program. We have tested different elements of the show for
the last several weeks and the response from our viewers has been very encouraging."

Los Alamitos constructed a broadcast set and facility specifically for the new show. Schrupp will be joined by TVG's Quarter Horse expert, Dave Weaver and, on many evenings, Los Alamitos
handicapper Les Onaka for coverage of each race, interviews, highlights, handicapping analysis and special on-the-air contests and promotions designed to promote both Los Alamitos and Quarter Horse racing.
