Victories Wednesday by longshots Continental Miss and Continental Stitch helped create a pick six carryover of $114,773 heading into Thursday's card at Santa Anita.

Four of the six legs of Wednesday's pick six wager were won by horses returning a double-digit win mutuel, with the highest payouts coming from Continental Miss ($32) and Continental Stitch ($69.20). Both horses were bred in California and sired by Flying Continental.

Continental Stitch's victory came in the feature race under apprentice rider Elvis Trujillo. The Juan Silva trainee rallied from next-to-last in the seven-horse field to win the one-mile turf allowance for Cal-breds by a half-length over Honesty Pays, with Nick of Time a nose back in fourth, just ahead of Bonus Pay Day.

Racing at Santa Anita Thursday begins at 1 p.m. (PDT) with a pair of two-furlong maiden races for 2-year-olds kicking of the eight-race program.

Daylight savings time marks the beginning of twilight racing on Friday's. First post will be 3 p.m. (PDT).
