Patchen Beauty Delivers White Foal

Bob Ezrine, manager of Patchen Wilkes Farm near Lexington, reports that the white mare Patchen Beauty has delivered a white colt by Pioneering.

The colt by Patchen Beauty (Hatchet Man--Precious Beauty, by Jatullah), is "healthy, and running around," according to Ezrine. It is the first foal registered for the 7-year-old mare. Patchen Beauty, bred by Patchen Wilkes Farm, won two of 23 starts in her racing career and earned $54,268.

Pioneering, a son of Mr. Prospector and a half-brother to Storm Cat, stands at W.T. Young's Overbrook Farm near Lexington.
