Woodbine Entertainment has announced its most comprehensive Woodbine Thoroughbred racing TV schedule ever.
Sixty Thoroughbred racing broadcasts, including 53 editions of "Woodbine Post Time" and seven stakes specials will air on Sportsnet this season. Another 20 Woodbine full-card simulcast broadcasts will air on The Score.
The first broadcast of the season on The Score was aired March 31. The Score will telecast Woodbine's full-card simulcasts nearly every Sunday until Sept. 1. The first Woodbine Post Time on Sportsnet, which will spotlight three to four races during each telecast, is set for April 26 at 3:30 p.m.
The first stakes special is the $150,000 Plate Trial Stakes, which is set for June 1 at 4 p.m. The 1 1/8-mile race will spotlight the major contenders for the 143rd running of the Queen's Plate 22 days later.
Sportsnet's other stakes specials feature Woodbine's biggest added-money events, including the Queen's Plate on June 23, the Atto Mile on Sept. 8 and the Canadian International on, Sept. 29.
