Dollar Bill will race under 114 pounds, including jockey Jorge Chavez, when he goes postward in Saturday's $500,000 Oaklawn Handicap (gr. I).

The Dallas Stewart-trained son of Peaks and Valleys won his 4-year-old debut in a tough Fair Grounds allowance race. He will be in receipt of a four-pound weight concession from 118-pound highweight Mr Ross in the 1 1/8-mile race.

Oaklawn Park projects a seven-horse field for the race, with only six pounds separating the contenders. The likely field, with jockeys and weight assignments, consists of: Mr Ross, 118 pounds, Don Pettinger; Crafty Shaw, 116, James Lopez; Graeme Hall, 115, John Velazquez; Dollar Bill, 114, Jorge Chavez; Bowman's Band, 113, Edgar Prado; Remington Rock, 112, Calvin Borel; and Secret Romeo, 112, Terry Houghton.
