Dogwood Stable's Smok'n Frolic, winner of the Fashion, Tempted (gr. III), and Demoiselle (gr. II) Stakes as a 2-year-old, has been taken out of training for 30 days following an incident of bleeding during a Florida workout.

Dogwood Stable president Cot Campbell said, "The filly is currently turned out at Dr. Robert Copelan's Sunnyside Farm in Paris, Kentucky. She'll rejoin Todd Pletcher's stable April 20 and be pointed for the Acorn Stakes (gr. I) at Belmont June 7."

The gray daughter of Smoke Glacken won four times in nine trips to the post last year, earning $342,744, winning or placing in five stakes.

"There are numerous opportunities for 3-year-old fillies during the summer and fall, so every precaution is being taken now to make sure we're in good shape for the last half of the year," Campbell said.

Smok'n Frolic was recently named the 2001 Florida-bred Champion 2-year-old filly.
