Starlight Stable's Harlan's Holiday worked Wednesday morning for the first time since winning the $1 million Florida Derby (gr. I). The Ken McPeek-trained son of Harlan breezed five furlongs in 1:03 2/5 under Edgar Prado.

"It was slower than I wanted, but it's better to err on the side of caution and it's better to go slower than faster," McPeek said. "He came back in good shape and that's the most important thing. I'm flying him, Repent and Take Charge Lady to Kentucky on Sunday and I'll probably run him in the Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland."

The work went in splits of :12 4/5, :25 3/5, and :38 1/5.

McPeek said Repent and Take Charge Lady will work at Gulfstream Saturday before shipping to Kentucky with Harlan's Holiday.
