Woodman, North America's leading active sire by number of foals, will stand the Southern Hemisphere season at TNT Stud in Brazil on a one-year lease arrangement worked out with Irish-based Coolmore Stud. The 19-year-old syndicated son of Mr. Prospector stands for $40,000 at Coolmore's U.S. satellite, Ashford Stud near Versailles, Ky.
Woodman, who was produced from the Buckpasser mare Playmate, has shuttled to Coolmore Australia several seasons. He is represented by 1,223 named foals in both hemispheres and they include 81 stakes winners.
