Tapit Filly Brings $1 Million at F-T Saratoga

Hip 69, by Tapit, sold for $1 million.

Nat Rea's Regis Farms bought a standout gray daughter of Tapit   for $1 million during opening night of the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga select yearling sale.

The property of Merriebelle Stable and offered by Bluegrass Thoroughbred is the first foal out of the Tiznow   daughter Rote. The filly's second dam, Song to Remember (by Storm Cat) produced grade I stakes winnerMagnificent Song.

Merriebelle Stable originally bought the filly to race but felt the tremendous success of Tapit's offspring this year presented too good of an opportunity.
