Shanghai Bobby  , the undefeated 2-year-old champion male of 2012, will stand the 2014 and 2015 Southern Hemisphere breeding seasons Brazil. The 4-year-old son of Harlan's Holiday will stand at at Fazenda Mondesir near Bage and is being leased by a group of prominent Brazilian breeders which include Stud Eternamente Rio, Haras Regina, Stud Capitao, Haras Old Friends and Di Cellius, among others.

The shuttle deal was brokered by Lexington-based bloodstock agent Priscila Beloch of Immensity Bloodstock.

Shanghai Bobby stood his first season at Ashford Stud near Versailles, Ky., this year for a fee of $20,000.

Winner of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, Champagne Stakes, and Hopeful Stakes, all grade I events, during his championship season for Starlight Racing and Coolmore Partners, Shanghai Bobby was retired last fall due to a suspensory injury after compiling a record of six wins in eight starts under the supervision of Todd Pletcher, with earnings of $1,857,000.
