A colt by Unbridled's Song was purchased by Chuck Sandford for $400,000 to be the top-priced offering during the first half of the yearling portion of the Fasig-Tipon Kentucky July sale in Lexington July 14.

Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent, the colt was the only horse in the sale by sire who died last July.

"I have another Unbridled's Song called Almost Famous, and he will run in the $300,000 Ohio Derby this coming weekend," Sandford said. " I went to $500,000 to get him at the Fasig-Tipton sale in Florida over a year ago. There's just not many left."

Produced from the stakes-placed E Dubai   mare Bet On the Blue, the colt was bred in Kentucky by Hal Snowden and The Unbridled's Song Syndicate. Fourth dam, group I-placed Imperfect Circle, is the dam of multiple grade I winner Spinning World and stakes winner and stakes producer Visions of Clarity.
