Capote Filly Has Fastest Time in OBSC Under Tack Show

Yester Morn, a filly by Capote, zipped a quarter-mile in :21 1/5 to post the fastest work at the distance at Saturday's first session of the Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's March Sale of selected 2-year-olds in training. The bay filly, consigned by Eisaman Equine, Agent, is out of Patticake Blues, by Cure the Blues. She had worked an eighth in :10 3/5 at last Sunday's Video Preview.

Two youngsters who each worked a quarter-mile in :21 2/5 were a chestnut filly by Forest Wildcat out of stakes placed Old Flame, by Black Tie Affair consigned by Greg and Karen Dodd 's Southern Chase Farm, Inc. and a bay colt by Glitterman out of The Real Thing, by Capote, consigned by Nick de Meric, Agent.

A pair of horses each worked the fastest eighth of a mile in :10 1/5. One is a chestnut colt by Announce out of Saltwater Silence consigned by Donna M. Wormser and the other is a bay filly by Mr. Greeley out of Sweetly Decorated, by Well Decorated, a half sister to graded stakes winner Double Quick. She is consigned by Robert N. Scanlon.

The fastest three-eighths work was turned in by Salt It Away, a colt by Salt Lake, timed in :34 2/5. Out of Punch Bunny, by Two Punch, a half sister to graded stakes winner Brushing Up, the chestnut colt is consigned by Cardinal Hill Farm (Carol and Norman Casse.

The Under Tack Show continues Sunday at 9:00 a.m.

The March Sale is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 19 and 20, beginning the day after the OBS Day of Champions race card on Monday, March 18.
