San Rafael Stakes (gr. II) winner Came Home's precautionary nuclear scan came back clean and the 3-year-old son of Gone West resumed training Saturday morning. The Paco Gonzalez trainee is being prepared for the 1 1/8-mile Santa Anita Derby (gr. I, April 6).
Came Home has won five of six career starts, including the grade I Hopeful Stakes, with his lone loss coming in a seventh-place finish in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (gr. I).
Meanwhile, Azillion suffered an ankle injury and Santa Anita no longer lists the son of Alzao as being pointed to the Lane's End Spiral Stakes (gr. II). The Robert Hess Jr.-trained Azillion has finished third in two Santa Anita allowance races after racing in England as a juvenile.
