One More Time First Winner for Charitable Man

One More Time flew to an 8 1/2-length victory in his career debut July 5 in the second race at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races and became the first winner for freshman sire Charitable Man
 
Bred and trained by John Allen Casey, West Virginia-bred One More Time covered the 4 1/2-furlong maiden special weight race in :52.64 under Erik Rameriz. Owned by Kristy Petty, the colt is out of multiple stakes winner Let's Just Do It, by Roy, and is a half brother to stakes winner Mr. Proud Allen and stakes-placed Allen Did It. 
 
Charitable Man, by Lemon Drop Kid  --Charitabledonation, by Saint Ballado, posted a 3-1-1 record from eight career starts that includes his victory in the 2008 Futurity Stakes (gr. II) and runner-up finish in the 2009 Peter Pan Stakes (gr. II), both at Belmont Park. He was  third in the 2009 Jim Dandy Stakes (gr. II) at Saratoga Race Course and banked $475,000 in three seasons. 
 
With 36 2-year-olds in his first crop, Charitable Man stood the 2014 season at Taylor Mountain Farm in Charles Town, W. Va. for a $3,500 fee.
