Crafty Shaw looks to keep the winning ball rolling with a victory in Saturday's $100,000 Razorback Handicap (gr. III) at Oaklawn Park, but he will face a tough challenge from defending champion Mr Ross.

The 4-year-old son of Crafty Prospector enters the Razorback with four straight victories, three of them in stakes, and the 113 Beyer Speed Figure he posted last time out in the Essex Handicap (gr. III).

Mr Ross, who reached millionaire status in the Gold Cup Handicap at Sam Houston, is seeking to become the third repeat winner of the Razorback. Swift Ruler won in 1966-67 and Eminency scored in 1982-83.

The Razorback is the last local prep for the $500,000 Oaklawn Handicap (gr. I) April 6.

The field of eight for the Razorback includes: Dust on the Bottle (Justin Vitek, 113); Maysville Slew (Luis Quinonez, 113); Remington Rock (Calvin Borel, 113); Jadada (Tim Doocy, 112); Kiss of Lion (Mike Smith, 112); and Big Numbers (Donnie Meche, 111).
