Barretts May Sale Will Offer More Than 400 Head

More than 400 horses will be catalogued for the Barretts May sale of 2-year-olds in training, which will be conducted on May 13 and 14 in Southern California. The auction's offerings will include a 50-horse dispersal from the Estate of Bart D. Heller and 26 horses from the Cavanaugh Family Trust.

"This year's May 2-year-olds include many March sale-type pedigrees, and the dispersals should add some spice to the book as well," said Barretts president Jerry McMahon.

The Heller Dispersal will include 21 horses of racing age, 14 2-year-olds in training, and 15 yearlings. The Cavanaugh dispersal will be made up of 18 horses of racing age and eight 2-year-olds in training. Among the Heller horses are the stakes winners Sea to Sea, Spinelessjellyfish, and Mellow Fellow.
