Lukas Fined for 'Display of Temper'

Trainer D. Wayne Lukas was fined $500 on Saturday for what stewards called "a display of temper" after the Ballerina Handicap (gr. I) at Saratoga Aug. 19.
Lukas claimed foul after his Cash Run finished sixth in the seven-furlong race, contending she was interfered with by winner Dream Supreme. After the ruling was disallowed, Lukas publicly criticized the stewards' decision.
