A Malibu Moon   three-quarter brother to leading sire Tapit   sold for $1 million April 7 at the Keeneland April select sale of 2-year-olds in training.

A partnership of Gainesway, Mt. Brilliant Farm, and Robert LaPenta secured the chestnut colt out of Tap Your Heels, by Unbridled, who was consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, agent.

Bred in Kentucky by Barouche Stud (Ireland), the colt breezed an eighth of a mile in :09 4/5 at the under tack show April 3.

Tap Your Heels, who is a half sister to 1992 champion sprinter Rubiano, has produced three winners from five starters, including Gainesway sire Tapit, winner of the 2004 Wood Memorial (gr.
