Grade II winner My Gi Gi has been retired to be bred to Medaglia d'Oro   and entered in a November sale as part of the Taylor Made Sales Agency consignment.

A turf specialist trained by Peter Eurton for most of her career, the 5-year-old daughter of E Dubai   won or placed in nine of 18 starts, with earnings of $334,290. Included in My Gi Gi's two victories was the 2012 Honeymoon Handicap (gr. IIT) in which she defeated multiple grade I winner Lady of Shamrock.

In addition to her graded stakes triumph, My Gi Gi finished second in the American Oaks (gr. I), Senorita Stakes (gr. II), and Happy Ticket Stakes, with third-place efforts in the Royal Heroine Mile Stakes, John C. Mabee Stakes, and Yellow Ribbon Handicap, all grade II grass tests.

Bred by Darley, My Gi Gi is out of the stakes-winning, group I-placed Sadler's Wells mare Relish the Thought.

"She was always sound, she retired sound, and she always gave it her all," owners Wade Jacobsen and Dennis Conner said in a release. "We felt like with her being out of a Sadler's Wells stakes winner who was group I placed in the Vodafone Oaks, she would make a great addition to someone's broodmare band in foal to Medaglia d'Oro."

"She was as sound and as honest as they come, she was a pleasure to have in the barn, and I wish all our horses were as tough as her," Eurton said in a statement.
