Following the recent announcement of a strategic alliance between Irish Thoroughbred Marketing, Great British Racing International and the French Racing and Breeding Committee, an initiative known as "Destination Europe" has been launched to attract top-level investment into horseracing in Europe.

Destination Europe will showcase the very best that European racing and breeding has to offer to attract investment from around the world. Working closely together, the groups will provide a strong global message to place European racing at the forefront of the world market.

Destination Europe will initially target markets in Australasia and North America, expanding to other countries in the future.

Central to the Destination Europe message will be that Europe can boast many of the world's top races as well as some of the finest bloodlines available. Destination Europe will initially target markets in Australasia and North America, expanding to other countries in the future.

A collaboration between the three companies led to the design of the Destination Europe logo, which gives a European twist to the globally recognized online map locator symbol. The eye-catching logo prominently pinpoints Europe as the premier destination for anyone seeking to invest in the racing and breeding industry.

The logo will be used in the coordinated campaign of advertising, media and events by the Irish, British and French groups under the banner of Destination Europe. The extensive promotional campaign will provide a platform for attracting new investment to the European industry as well shining the spotlight on the outstanding sport on offer.

The upcoming Dubai World Cup meeting will offer the first opportunity for Destination Europe to highlight the successes of European-bred and trained horses, while events will also be planned around Royal Ascot.
