Forest Secrets sat just off Summer Colony's right flank until the pair approached the quarter-mile pole in Saturday's $200,000 Rampart Handicap (gr. II). From there, Forest Secrets moved to the lead in the stretch en route to winning the 1 1/8-mile Gulfstream Park feature by three lengths as the even-money favorite.

Forest Secrets felt three strokes of jockey Pat Day's whip in the stretch run and stopped the timer in 1:49.83 on a fast track. Summer Colony finished second, snapping a six-race win streak. Happily Unbridled came home two lengths farther back in third, followed by Castlebrook, Lily's Affair, and Unbridled Waters.

The win marks the third graded stakes win for Forest Secrets, who previously won the Acorn Stakes (gr. I) and Falls City Handicap (gr. III). In her seasonal debut last month, Forest Secrets finished second in the Sabin Handicap (gr. III). The 4-year-old daughter of Forest Wildcat is trained by John T. Ward Jr. for owner Debby M. Oxley. Forest Secrets earned $120,000 for the win, her fourth in 10 career starts.

Forest Secrets paid $4, $2.40, and $2.10. Summer Colony returned $2.40 and $2.10 and Happily Unbridled $2.40. The winning exacta combination paid $7.80.
