Champion Gourmet Girl Booked to Fusaichi Pegasus

Gary Tanaka's Gourmet Girl, the 2001 Eclipse Award winner in the older female division, will be bred to Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner Fusaichi Pegasus. "We consider Fusaichi Pegasus to be the most exciting young stallion in the world," said Tanaka's racing manager, Andy Smith. Gourmet Girl, by Cee's Tizzy, earned $1.2 million in her career. She is boarded at the Taylor family's Taylor Made Farm near Nicholasville, Ky.
