Churchill Downs is one of 70 leading public and private companies asked to do a presentation before investors at the 11th Annual CIBC World Markets Gaming, Lodging, and Leisure Conference in New York City.

Robert Decker, Churchill Downs' chief financial officer, will make his presentation at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. Decker will speak for about 15 minutes and can be heard through a CIBC Web cast that be accessed at www.churchilldownsincorporated.com. Anyone accessing the Web cast will be asked to fill out a short registration form.

The other companies that participated in the conference and have ties to horse racing included Penn National Gaming, MTR Gaming, Harrah's Entertainment, Gtech Holdings, and Boyd Gaming.

The audience at the invitation-only conference, which ends today, included most of the key public and private equity, high yield, and bank loan investors. The conference provided investors an opportunity to see some of the leading companies in the gaming and leisure industries, and discuss first-hand with management teams their company's successes, challenges, and growth opportunities.
