Betterbetterbetter, the daughter of Galileo who was the $5.2 million sale-topper at the 2013 Fasig-Tipton November sale, foaled a bay filly by War Front Jan. 16 at Timber Town Farm near Lexington.
According to Wayne Sweezey, who owns Timber Town with his wife Cathy, both the mare and foal are doing well.
"She is a lovely individual, good bone, very balanced and typical of War Front, all bay with a white star," said Sweezey. He said plans call for the mare owned by Mandy Pope to be bred back to War Front.
The filly is the first foal for group-placed Betterbetterbetter, a 5-year-old produced from the Darshaan mare Jude and a half sister to Irish champions Yesterday and Quarter Moon, both group I winners and second-place finishers in the Vodafone Epsom Oaks (Eng-I).
