Juddmonte Farms announced the first reported foal by superhorse Frankel was born at Ireland's Coolmore Stud Jan. 11.
The colt was produced from multiple group III winner Chrysanthemum, a daughter of Danehill Dancer campaigned by Coolmore's Michael Tabor, Susan Magnier, and Derrick Smith.
"The stud reported that the foal is a handsome colt with a good head, a white blaze, and great presence," a Juddmonte release said.
"From the reports that I have received, Frankel's first foal is everything we could have hoped for," Juddmonte Farms general manager Philip Mitchell said in a release. "These are very exciting times for everyone who has supported the horse and we much look forward to the rest of his first crop of foals."
Chrysanthemum was the first mare scanned in foal to Frankel last year, and this is her first newborn.
The world's top Thoroughbred when he retired after winning all 14 of his starts, Frankel stands at Juddmonte's Banstead Manor Farm where his 2014 fee is £125,000 (about $205,000 in U.S. funds).
