Grade II Winner Performing Magic to Sugar Maple in New York

Five-year-old Performing Magic, a three-time graded stakes winner, has been retired from racing for stallion duty at Howard and Susan Kaskel's Sugar Maple Farm near Poughquag, N.Y., for a fee of $5,000 live foal.
A son of Gone West out of Performing Arts (by The Minstrel), Performing Magic won or placed in 13 of 18 races in North America and England for Prince Ahmed Salman's The Thoroughbred Corp. He captured the Illinois Derby (gr. II), Remington Park Derby (gr. III), and Derby Trial Stakes (gr. III) as well as placing in four stakes. For his career, he won five races and earned $723,170.
