Louvakhova, a stakes-winning daughter of Maria's Mon, was purchased by Glen Hill Farm for $425,000 during the Jan. 6 first session of the Keeneland January horses of all ages sale.

With about three hours remaining, the price was the second-highest so far during the session conducted on a day during which the afternoon temperature hovered around 3 degrees in Lexington.

Consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, the 6-year-old mare was sold in foal to Arch  . Winner of the Frances A. Genter Stakes, Louvakhova is a half-sister to Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (gr. IT) winner Flotilla and is out of the grade III stakes winner Louvain.
