The first mare bred to Horse of the Year Point Given at Robert N. Clay's Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky., was pronounced in foal Feb. 25. Point Given covered Real Cat, the first mare of his new career, on Feb. 11.
"Point Given has settled in well. He's bred 20 mares so far and he's taken well to his new job," said Three Chimneys stallion manager Sandy Hatfield. "He's just as proficient at his new job just as he was his old one, it seems."
Real Cat is an unraced 4-year-old maiden by Storm Cat out of Real Jenny and is a half-sister to three stakes winners, including graded winner Ifyoucanseemenow. Real Cat is boarded at Castleton Lyons Stud in Central Kentucky.
