Trainer Ken McPeek has tabbed jockey Edgar Prado to ride Fountain of Youth (gr. I) and Holy Bull (gr. III) runner-up Harlan's Holiday in the $1 million Florida Derby (gr. I). Prado replaces Tony D'Amico, the only jockey to have previously ridden Harlan's Holiday in a race.

"I've got a commitment from Prado to ride Harlan's Holiday in the Florida Derby," McPeek said. "Tony will continue to ride my other horse Repent. I'll be working Harlan's Holiday sometime this week, depending on how the track is, and Prado will ride him in the workout."

McPeek decided to replace D'Amico in case Harlan's Holiday and Repent are entered in the same race down the road, allowing Harlan's Holiday and Prado time to get to know each other beforehand.
