Before Beautiful Pleasure and Heritage of Gold rematch in the Personal Ensign Handicap (gr. I) at Saratoga Friday, last year’s juvenile filly champion Chilukki races in a 6 1/2-furlong allowance race at the upstate New York oval. Chilukki is the 4-5 morning-line favorite and 122-pound co-highweight for Friday's third race, but the money won conditioned allowance race for 3-year-old fillies is no walkover, featuring four of five entrants dropping from stakes races.

Nassau County (gr. II) winner C’est L’ Amour, who finished fourth in the Mother Goose Stakes (gr. I) in her most recent start, will also start under 122 pounds. The Philip Johnson trainee earned her first career win at Saratoga last year when trained by Patrick Byrne.

Overbrook Farm’s Katz Me If You Can drops out of the stakes ranks and back in among fillies her own age Friday. In her most recent start, the D. Wayne Lukas trainee finshed third against older horses in the slower division of a split Honorable Miss Handicap (gr. III). Also in the race are Dat You Miz Blue -- who finished fourth in the Test Stakes, in which Chilukki finished a troubled sixth –- and multiple restricted stakes winner Dr Margaret, a Massachusetts-bred filly trained by John J. Kelly III.
