When Upperline sold to Town and Country for $1.75 million just after noon in the second session of the Keeneland November breeding stock sale Nov. 6, she was the eighth horse to reach seven figures, already surpassing the seven who reached $1 million or more last year.

Not even to the halfway point of the second session, eight horses had sold for $1 million or more and 12 for $800,000 or more. At last year's entire sale, a dozen horses sold for $800,000 or more and seven for $1 million or more.

Consigned by Stone Farm, Upperline is a three-time grade III winner who placed third in last year's Juddmonte Spinster Stakes (gr. I) at Keeneland. She is believed to be pregnant to War Front  .

A half sister to stakes winner Snow Fall, by War Front, Upperline is out of the grade I-placed mare Snowflake, by Caerleon.
