Jockey Travis Dunkleberger will likely miss two more weeks of racing while recovering from a Feb. 9 spill at Aqueduct. Despite the injury, Dunkleberger rode Prized Stamp to a second-place finish in Saturday's Barbara Fritchie Handicap (gr. II) at Laurel Park.
"He was very sore (following the race)," said Frank Sanabria, Dunkleberger's agent. "He could hardly use his left hand and he still has abdominal pain. There is a possibility he has a cracked rib."
Sanabria said Dunkleberger will undergo more medical evaluation and is pointing for a March 2 return to the races.
