Meg Levy of Bluewater Sales explained that these mares are being sold as part of Southern Equine's overall business plan.
"Participants in the Thoroughbred industry understand the tax requirements for profitability," Levy said in a statement. "The sale of these horses in 2013 will achieve this requirement."
Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning added, "These are wonderful additions to our November catalog. Young mares of this quality are very difficult to obtain and buyers throughout the world will be excited about the potential of these offerings."
