Fourteen-year-old stallion Sultry Song has been purchased by Millennium Farms Kentucky part owner Ro Parra from Live Oak Stud. Formerly at Claiborne Farm near Paris, Ky., he arrived at his new home in mid-afternoon Feb, 14. Parra owns Millennium with his wife, Cheryl, and William and Michele Hardin.
Sultry Song's stakes winners include Canadian champion filly Kirby's Song and the grade II-winning Prime Timber. A Live Oak homebred, Sultry Song (Cox's Ridge--Sultry Sun, by Buckfinder) was a grade I winner at Hollywood Park, Belmont, and Saratoga and earned $1.6 million. His fee is $5,000.
Sultry Song's arrival came a day after Millennium announced the sale of farm stallion Unaccounted For to the Turkish Jockey Club.
