New York-based stallion Noonmark   picked up his first winner Sept. 7 when Noon Shadow posted a one-length victory in the first race at Suffolk Downs, a maiden special weight test.

Christopher Trakas and Arlene Falk's Noon Shadow tracked Yasou Christo early, opened a clear lead in the stretch, and cruised to the wire as the 7-5 favorite. Jockey Jacqueline Falk guided Noon Shadow to the victory in his second career start.

Noonmark, a grade III-winning son of Unbridled's Song, stood the 2013 season for $5,000 at Sequel Stallions in Hudson, N.Y.

Noon Shadow, a 2-year-old New York-bred, is out of the Polish Numbers mare Overdue Number.
