Blue Burner Works for Fountain of Youth

Kinsman Stable's Blue Burner breezed three furlongs in :38 at Payson Park Feb. 12 in a final blowout for Saturday's grade 1 Fountain of Youth at Gulfstream Park.

Blue Burner, undefeated in three trips to the post, made his local bow and only start of his 3-year-old season here on Jan. 3, coming from off the pace in a mile and 70 yards allowance race to tally by a half-length.

The son of French Deputy had breezed five furlongs at the Palm Beach County training center last Thursday in 1:03. He is owned by George Steinbrenner and trained by Bill Mott.
