Central Kentucky stallion Accelerator has been purchased by the Turkish Jockey Club in a deal arranged by Narvick International and the French Bloodstock Agency. "We had no interest in selling Accelerator, but the syndicate felt this offer was a substantial one," said John G. Sikura, who stood the 8-year-old stallion at his Hill 'n' Dale Farms near Lexington. "The Turkish Jockey Club has bought a very nice horse."
Accelerator (A.P. Indy--Get Lucky, by Mr. Prospector) was a New York graded stakes winner as a 2-year-old and five times graded stakes-placed in New York. His first foals are yearlings. His 2002 fee at Hill 'n' Dale was $5,000 live foal.
