Joying Sells For $190,000 at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Winter Auction

Joying, an 11-year-old daughter of Storm Cat, sold for $190,000 at Fasig-Tipton Kentucky's winter mixed sale in Lexington on Monday with approximately one-third of the auction completed. Consigned by David and Ginger Mullins of Doninga, the mare was purchased by Bluegrass Thoroughbred Services, agent.

Offered in foal to Old Trieste, Joying is a winner who finished second in the Vallejo Stakes and third in the Champagne Shower Handicap at Golden Gate Fields in 1994. She is the dam of Finn McCool (by Meadowlake), a winner who finished second in the restricted W. Meredith Bailes Memorial Stakes at Colonial Downs in 2001. Joying's dam, Jump With Joy (by Linkage), won a restricted stakes at Philadelphia Park.
