California breeder/owner Dr. David N. Brown Dies

California breeder/owner Dr. David N. Brown, who bred and raced the stakes-winning half-brothers College Town and Westcot, died Feb. 7 of cancer. He was 67.
College Town won two graded stakes as well as the 1994 Wells Fargo Bank California Cup Classic. He was the state's champion 3-year-old male of 1994. Brown raced Westcot in partnership.
Brown's survivors include his wife, Barbara, and four sons.
