Rich and Laura Soutar have purchased 11-year-old Walter Willy (Sadler's Wells--Whakilyric, by Miswaki) for stallion duty at Old English Rancho near Sanger, Calif. A stakes winner in France and graded stakes-placed in the U.S., Walter Willy is a full brother to French group I winner Johann Quatz and a half-brother to French champion Hernando. He formerly stood at Nexstar Ranch in California. His fee is $2,000 live foal.
