Stronach Stable's Golden Missile, only considered a "possible" entrant for Sunday's $350,000 Philip H. Iselin Handicap (gr. II) at Monmouth Park, was assigned top weight of 121 pounds for the race. Ecton Park and Sir Bear are listed next at 118 pounds. With the former shipping to California Wednesday to run in Saturday's $1-million Pacific Classic (gr. I) at Del Mar and Golden Missile only possible for the race, Sir Bear may go postward as the starting highweight.
Others nominees, with weights, for the 1 1/8-mile Iselin include Blazing Sword (116 pounds, and also possible for the Pacific Classic), Pleasant Breeze (115), Talk's Cheap (114), Mountain Range (111), Rize (111) and $15,000 supplemental nominee Truluck (111).
The Iselin will be broadcast live on ESPN2 as part of an hour-long program beginning at 4:30 p.m. (EDT).
