After a pair of runner-up finishes last season, Wertheimer & Frere homebred Anodin, a full brother to three-time Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT) winner Goldikova, secured a clear victory in his 3-year-old debut.

After Anodin's 1 1/4-length victory in the one-mile race, winning trainer Freddie Head told Racing Post he will consider the Poule d'Essai des Poulains-French Two Thousand Guineas (Fr-I) for the son of Anabaa.

"He's really pleased me with the way he finished there," Head said. "Like his sister, he's a horse who's taken a little time but he's shown us something there with a good burst of finishing speed."

Anodin and Goldikova are out of the Blushing Groom mare Born Gold.
