Millionaire War Chant's first foal was born Jan. 25 at Warren Rosenthal's Patchen Wilkes Farm near Lexington, Ky.
Bred by Marjorie and Irving Cowan, the filly is the third foal produced from the Nureyev mare Grands Jetes. The Cowans raced War Chant.
Pathen Wilkes Farm manager Barry Ezrine said the youngster as "a nice, leggy, correct filly."
Five-year-old War Chant (Danzig--Hollywood Wildcat, by Kris S.) won the 2000 Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. IT). He stands at Robert N. Clay's Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky.
