Jockey Kevin Krigger celebrates his fourth win.

Trainer Doug O'Neill registered four wins at Santa Anita Park April 5, including three consecutively.

Jockey Kevin Krigger won four straight on the eight-race program, including three in tandem with O'Neill.

O'Neill got the day started in the second race with even-money favorite Muchos Besos ($4), ridden by Edwin Maldonado in a $10,000 claiming race at 6 1/2 furlongs (VIDEO). The trainer and Krigger clicked for the first time in the third race with Toomanytomatoes ($8) in a $32,000 claiming race for fillies and mares at one mile on the turf (VIDEO). In the fourth, the O'Neill-trained Bikini Bottom ($7.80), ridden by Krigger, tallied in a $25,000 claiming event for fillies and mares at six furlongs (VIDEO).

Krigger won the next race for trainer Dean Greenman with 7-1 shot The Only Key ($16.80) in the day's featured allowance/optional claiming event for fillies and mares at 1 1/4 miles on the turf (VIDEO). Krigger and O'Neill then combined to take the sixth race, a maiden claiming test for 3-year-olds at 6 1/2 furlongs, with A Thousand Aces ($14.40) (VIDEO).

In their next opportunity together, O'Neill and Krigger team up with Goldencents in the $750,000 Santa Anita Derby April 6. The multiple graded stakes winner is 9-2 on the revised morning line.

"To win three in a row coming into the Derby tomorrow is a great feeling," said Krigger, a 29-year-old native of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, after winning aboard The Only Key. "It couldn't come at a better time."

With his four wins O'Neill now has 30 victories at the Santa Anita meet, passing Jerry Hollendorfer, with 29, for second in the Santa Anita standings. Bob Baffert leads everyone with 35 wins. O'Neill has had 222 starters at the meet, most of any trainer.

Krigger now has 23 victories during the stand, good for ninth in the jockey standings.
