Beginning April 1, TVG will drop the 25 cents per wager charged some customers and offer free wagering. TVG had charged the fee since its launch in July 1999.
Also effective April 1, the horse racing and wagering company said customers will receive 10 hours of free video streaming per month, with the opportunity to earn ongoing free service based on activity.
"We are excited to be offering wagering and video streaming free of charge to all our customers," said Don Scott, TVG's vice president of marketing. "Moving to a free pricing structure is in direct response to customer sentiment."
TVG, a subsidiary of Betfair Group, is one of the largest legal online gaming companies in the U.S. accepting over $650 million in wagers in 2011, according to a company release.
