TVG has announced that in partnership with Woodbine Entertainment Group, the horse racing network is expanding its live coverage of racing from Japan in 2013. As part of the expansion, TVG will air full card coverage of 20 Japanese group I races, beginning March 23 with the Takamatsunomiya Kinen (Jpn-I). Air time is 7:30 p.m. ET.

TVG's renewed agreement with the Japanese Racing Association grants the network exclusive U.S. television rights, with Woodbine serving as North American host for JRA racing and exclusive OTB rights holder.

Highlighting TVG's 2013 JRA schedule are the Tokyo Yushun (Japanese Derby, Jpn-I, May 25); Tenno Sho (Autumn, Jpn-I, Oct. 26); Japan Cup (Jpn-I, Nov. 23); and the Arima Kinen (Jpn-I, Dec. 21).
